Welcome to year 4 – An exciting year of learning lies ahead.
The class teacher in year 4 is Mr. Nicholls.
The teaching assistant in year 4 is Mrs. Maltby.
Year 4 is an exciting year where there is lots of challenge, potential for growth and opportunities to excel. During the year, children will be encouraged to work hard, to be resilient in the challenges that they will face and to engage in all aspects of school life. Year 4 has high expectations for all pupils but we also ensure that learning is engaging, enjoyable and challenging for all pupils. In year 4, we strive to be the best we can be. Year 4 is also the year where all children will be expected to complete the Multiplication Times tables Check (MTC) in June. Children will be encouraged to practice times tables at home as well as being explicitly taught in the classroom.
