Final write up!
This week we are going to work on writing our own adventure story. First we will plan our plot points. then we will draft and re-draft and edit and improve. By the end of the week we will have our own adventure story.
You will write an adventure story about a girl/boy who find themselves in the Neolithic period. Describe the settlement (use Skara Bare). Describe their life: grinding and polishing stone for axes, farming, harvesting crops, growing food, domesticating animals, hunting/gathering food, building homes, chopping down trees, making pottery, weaving materials, using stone tools, fighting between tribes, and catching diseases from animals and so on.
Use your wider curriculum work and knowledge to help you or you can research the Neolithic period for more information.
