How many different times tables do you know? You should be confident with the 2x, 5x and 10x tables. Write these out in full and keep practising them.

If you already know these then write out as many as you can – good luck.

1 x 2 = 2

2 x 2 = 4

Listen to The Diary of a Wombat again here.

Listen to the class discussion here.

Look at the set of jumbled Days of the Week and read each one aloud.

Cut up the cards and sequence the days correctly, Monday to Sunday.

Now write one thing that you do each day of the week.

Today we are focusing on the ‘u_e’ sound. This sounds the same as ‘oo’. Click here to listen to the lesson.

How many words can you think of that use this sound?

How many items can you find with this sound?

Complete one of the handwriting sheets in your pack, use the guide lines to help you to keep the letters the correct size. Check that you have spelt these words correctly. Can you use these words in sentences of your own. You can either write these or talk about them to someone else. Your sentences must make sense.

Now you can go on to Edshed to play some of the games on there to help you to learn your spellings.

3rd March

Healthy Me

Can you think of  four things that keep people healthy. Think about eating healthy, exercising regularly. Write or draw these in your book.

Then, draw or write suggestions ideas for how to be motivated to stick to these.

Take some time to play today.

Put your coat on and go outside to enjoy the weather (whatever it is). What signs of spring can you spot? There may be some flowers coming through the soil – do you know what these are? You may be able to see the birds gathering twigs to make their nests.

Could you use your maths skills to bake? Click here for a link to making a pizza. Maybe you could have it for your lunch!

Could you design a plane of your own? What would make it special? How many people would be able to fly in it?

Take some family time, spend it well and enjoy!
